My Story
Three years ago, I lost my mum to cancer. She wasn’t just my mum – she was my best friend, my biggest supporter, and the person I’d call every single day to share the good, the bad and everything in between. She had the most incredible ability to make people laugh and light up every room she walked into. Even throughout her illness, she faced each day with remarkable strength, kindness and humour. I’m taking on the Bristol Shine Night Walk in her memory, and to help raise money for Cancer Research UK so that more families can have hope for the future. The care Mum received towards the end of her life was filled with such compassion, warmth and humanity, and I’ll always be grateful for that. If you’re able to sponsor me, no matter how small the amount, it would mean so much. Thank you for helping me honour Mum’s memory and support the vital research that will change lives.
