My Story
There are so many people affected by cancer, most of us have lost/losing a loved one due to this disease. My nan has suffered so much over the last few years, she has battled breast cancer, kindney cancer (including having 1 kidney removed) and lung cancer (had half of a lung removed) and she has now been told it's back and it is terminal! My mum has also been diagnosed with a blood cancer and she is currently being monitored, and will need constant follow up appointments, and assessments done for her future years. My husband's sister lost her battle with lung cancer at such a young age of 38yrs old. We also have other family/friends who have or are still battling cancer too. I am asking for even the smallest of donations, what ever you can spare to raise money as one day there will be a cure. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
