Little Family - race for life
Maidstone Pretty Muddy 5k 2019
There are so many people affected by cancer, and at some point in our lives we will all see a family member/friend struggle. My nan has suffered for so many years, she firstly got diagnosed with breast cancer and beat it, she later got diagnosed with kidney cancer (she had 1 kidney removed) and then lung cancer (she had half a lung removed) and now she has been told the lung cancer is back and now terminal. My mum has been diagnosed with a blood cancer and will now be monitored closely and have follow up appointments and treatments for her future years. My husband's sister lost her battle with lung cancer at such a young age of 38yrs old. We have family/friends that have or are still struggling with this disease. So any donation big or small will be helping towards finding a cure. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
