My Story
On the 26th June it will be a year since my loving, amazing, beautiful mum passed away from Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Myself, My Dad, Sister and Brother In Law will be completing the 5k in her memory along with my son Ryan whilst my husband is working at Glastonbury Festival! Without funds raised from events like this we wouldn’t have got as much time with Mum. She had several clinical trials whilst trying to beat this awful disease that she got diagnosed with in January 2018. After just over five months Mum unfortunately lost her battle to Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Cancer Research do amazing work every day and are always trying to find new treatments, better treatments and working towards cures. Mostly they are trying to extend people’s lives and give them quality time to spend with loved ones. Any donation that you can make would be greatly appreciated.
