My Story
Listening to the radio and an advert came on for 'walk 10,000 steps every day in March' and so I thought why not......Since been diagnosed with Breast Cancer in April 2020 I have wanted to do something to raise money for cancer, if it wasn't for charities like this I maybe wouldn't be were I am now, cancer free and on medication's to prevent it returning, thanks to cancer research and the fabulous team at Castle Hill I can say 'I've beat cancer'. Also last year we lost our wonderful Grandad who inspired us through our lives in many ways, he lost most of his family to cancer, including our Dad, but even after Grandad passed away he left 5 cancer charities a legacy in his will which went towards research and hospice's, so as well as doing this for myself I am carrying on in our Grandad's footsteps by giving when I can to help beat this awful disease.
