I'm going vegetarian for a month to raise money for Cancer Research UK
My Story
Thank you for visiting our Cancer Research UK Veg Pledge page. We will be taking on a month-long vegetarian challenge in January 2020 to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK. The money we raise will help fund life-saving research to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured so would really appreciate your support. Simon, Beth and I were intending on doing this anyway, but thought it would be good to try and raise some vital funds for Cancer research which touches almost everyone's lives.
CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
