My Story
Two years ago I started chemotherapy for Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Eighteen months ago I was cured, but my treatment went on. I've had two lots of chemo, two operations, radiotherapy and have participated in two clinical trials to help improve treatment and outcomes for people like me in years to come. Cancer affects so many of us, and without the work of the scientists at Cancer Research UK, treatment options and quality of life would be severely impacted. We are finding out more about cancer all the time, I had the best treatment available at the time but there is so much more we don't yet know. I didn't know about the different types of breast cancer and the one I had is one of the most challenging to treat. Research is vital. Please help me to give back to the people who made it possible for me to still be here today.
