Lisa's Race for Life

Myself, my son Jamie, Ali (My sister-in-law) and Tommy (my nephew) are all running the 10k Race For Life on the 30th June to help raise money for Cancer Research. My sister-in-law’s fabulous mum and my lovely friend, Jan, was diagnosed with Lymphoma in September 2018 and has had a rollercoaster ride so far with lots of complications along the way, however, she is a tough cookie, and continues to remain positive and is fighting on. My lovey daddy, is also having ongoing treatment for Prostate Cancer which he was diagnosed with in 2015. He is doing fabulously and living life to the fullest. We are therefore running for my dad and Ali’s mum, but also for all those other millions of people who are on the Big C rollercoaster. Jamie and Tommy are non-runners but are going to give it their best shot, Ali and I are amateur runners/ plodders but we will try our hardest to do our parents proud and burn some calories to make up for the prosecco that will be drank later in the day!
