My Story
At this moment in time, I have a couple of people close to me, who are fighting this awful disease, and are currently receiving treatment ,so I've decided to take part in this years 'race for life' to hopefully raise money for more treatment and research to help save more lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
