As well as this being for a good cause, it’s also a physical challenge due to my health and fitness ability. I’ve lost too many loved one to cancer over the years and it’s time to put a stop to it. I’m sure they’ll all be watching me from heaven, laughing at me and taking photos. I’m going to smash it even if it takes me all day, I’m not one to give up.
CAUSE
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
