My Story
This is my story. On 19.1.18 I had a "bolt from the blue" when I was told I had cancer. That day everything stopped. All my plans and dreams weren't there anymore. The next few weeks were tests to determine what stage I was. It was all extremely frightening and you instantly think you've been given a death sentence. Then the treatment begins. 13 weeks of intensive treatment starts. I put myself forward for a trial use of drugs to try to improve the success rate for both myself and all women in the future who are diagnosed with the same type of cancer. Only the next 5 years will tell if I have beaten cancer but I am determined to see my kids get married, have grandchildren and visit all the amazing places that Simon and I have talked about. The NHS have been truly amazing with their care and treatment and I couldn't have asked for more companionship and comradery from fellow cancer patients. I may only at that stage be able to walk the 5k but I will with my head held high. We need to beat "the ugly C" as I call it and eliminate it from our lives, so please share my page and donate a little or a lot whatever you can will make a difference.
