We are taking part in Race for Life to raise money to help find a cure for cancer.
Tracy and I (along with our friend Maureen - a cancer survivor) have taken part in Race for Life for a number of years to help fund research for Cancer treatments. We had planned to participate in Race for Life again this year but we never thought that our family would be facing a personal battle with Cancer. This year Darcie (8) and Charlie (8) will also be taking part to support their Dad/Uncle through his treatment. We are raising money to fund research into better treatment options and tests to diagnose cancer. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
