My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy & the 10k on 1st July to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Which means we will all know someone who has been touched by cancer. I’m taking part in both these events, firstly in remembrance of my lovely mum who died from Mesothelioma in Nov 2003. For Kenny’s mum who is also one of the bravest ladies I know and who is still kicking cancers ass, nearly 4.5years later. Where Alison gets her strength to fight another day, I honestly don’t know but she does with a smile on her face. I can only assume it’s her strong Scottish roots. This is also for anyone else I know personally who has experienced cancer in some way.
