My Story
My beautiful Granny sadly passed away of bladder cancer September 25th 2019. Watching her health deteriorate and this awful disease take away her independence before taking her life was truly the most heart breaking thing i have ever experienced. I am running in this race for Life to raise awareness and money for cancer research and to try and turn a negative situation into something more positive. Any sponsorship received would be truly appreciated and will give me the encouragement i need to run the whole 5k. As friends will know, i don't run anywhere, ever LOL!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
