Lisa's Milestone Challenge 8 June
Jurassic Coast Challenge
This is my opportunity to celebrate life whilst raising funds for life-saving research.
As a 1979 baby I am celebrating a Milestone birthday this year. I wanted to make it a memorable one by giving back and setting myself an epic fundraising challenge. Walking 58km (36 miles!!) over 1 day for the Jurassic Coastal Challenge 8 June 2019. I am not a walker, a runner or a member of a gym and before signing up my exercise routine consisted of a dog walk for an hour each day with my Cocker Spaniel Jack. I am a working mum of two young boys so time and energy levels are in short supply. I am sharing this so you know it is not something I do everyday and I will need to really dig deep. I have been inspired to push myself further than ever before by the incredible life-saving work we do here at Cancer Research and our dedicated supporters who go to extraordinary lengths every day to raise vital funds on our behalf. I am motivated to join them and to to help others reach their Milestone birthdays too! Please dig deep and help me reach my fundraising target. With your fundraising support, you will help us get closer to our ambition of increasing survival to 3 in 4 by 2034.
