My Story
As a 1979 baby I am celebrating a Milestone birthday this year. I wanted to make it a memorable one by giving back and setting myself an epic fundraising challenge. Walking 58km (36 miles!!) over 1 day for the Jurassic Coastal Challenge 8 June 2019. I am not a walker, a runner or a member of a gym and before signing up my exercise routine consisted of a dog walk for an hour each day with my Cocker Spaniel Jack. I am a working mum of two young boys so time and energy levels are in short supply. I am sharing this so you know it is not something I do everyday and I will need to really dig deep. I have been inspired to push myself further than ever before by the incredible life-saving work we do here at Cancer Research and our dedicated supporters who go to extraordinary lengths every day to raise vital funds on our behalf. I am motivated to join them and to to help others reach their Milestone birthdays too! Please dig deep and help me reach my fundraising target.
