My Story
***UPDATE*** THE BRIGHTON MARATHON HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 20TH SEPTEMBER - PLEASE SEE MY LATEST UPDATE (BELOW LEFT) FOR DETAILS. ___________________________________________________________ Another year, another marathon! This time, I will be completing the event held in Brighton on 19th of April and have chosen ‘Cancer Research’ as my chosen charity to run for. Cancer has touched our family deeply, with the sad loss of a very close relative my Uncle and Godfather in Dec 2016. In addition, we have had many other family members, friends and clients also having suffered with this fatal critical illness. Cancer is all too common – 1 in 2 people suffer with this, with just a 50% survival rate. Whilst medical technology has advanced over the years, unfortunately in some cases (like that of my uncle) further treatment can be declined as it is seen as futile and in others, there may not be a cure at all. Knowing so many people who have suffered with Cancer, this charity means so much to me. Any donation will be greatly appreciated, so please donate whatever you can and together we can help make a difference in the lives of others.
