My Story

Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. Most of you may know I lost my Dad to Cancer 10 years ago at the age of 57. On the 5th of October 2019 my Dad would of been 68. This year I have decided to raise money to help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. So on the 5th October 2019 I have decided to do a 5k Obsticle Run in memory of my Papa Bear who I miss so much. Let's beat this disease so others don't have to feel the pain I do everyday not having someone I love taken so soon in life by Cancer!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
