2019 Vitality London 10,000
Mon 27 May 2019
After not completing a running event since the Marathon in 2011 and concentrating on my favourite hobby Yoga one of my ladies that regularly attends my class asked if I was going to Park Run Christmas day. This was in 2017 and although I didn't run it and hadn't heard of Park run before I decided to give it a try in the January following. I found that I absolutely love(d) it and in Christmas 2018 I was one of the many runners on Christmas day with my Santa hat on! :) Although since the Marathon I have only been completing 5K's and mainly Park run which I love getting up for wherever possible on a Saturday morning and really does give the best start to the weekend after a week at work! Trying to beat my time every time possible! I thought I would try and do a event which will be the first time in 8 years and the Vitality 10000 in London on May Bank Holiday Monday (27th May 2019) chasing Sir Mo with thousands of other people seemed perfect! As part of running this I would like to raise money for a charity that I am sure is very close to us all so if you can donate any pennies or pounds this will be very appreciated. I think it will be a lovely day and I will definitely be envious of those on the Southbank having a nice glass of wine in the sunshine but hopefully I can do this after with tired legs following running for this great cause. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
