My best friend, Alex Hall #runforalex2017

In December 2016 my best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 29. She's successfully fighting it and has a beautiful new hair style as a result. On 31st March she celebrates her 30th birthday.

Anyone that knows me is aware that I don't run to raise money for charity, I do it for my own pleasure. However I thought I'd take this opportunity to support a cause that has recently become very close to me. To raise awareness I'll be running:

Sunday 2 April - City of Birmingham 10k
Sunday 21 May - Knowle 10k
Sunday 28 May - Liverpool Half Marathon
Sunday 11 June - Race for life: Redditch 10k
Saturday 1 July - Timberhonger 10k

Next year when Alex has won her battle, we'll be doing this together. But for now, let's try and raise a bit of cash #runforalex2017

Thank you!
