Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I have a very small family, and my Mum and I have lost a husband, Dad, Sister and Aunty both to lung cancer, so it's had a huge effect on us. Like all those people effected by cancer its a terrible illness to witness close hand and until you do, you don't I believe appreciate the pain and suffering. I did Race For Life last year as well, and this year racing in Cwmbran on Sunday 18th June, as its on Father's Day it will be even more poignant. I know you all get a lot of requests for sponsorship, and many of you generously sponsored me last year, but just a few £ will help me hit my target of £250. Please spare me a few minutes to help me support the memory of all those we have lost, or know who are suffering from cancer. Here's to the continued progress to help cancer research save more lives and reduce the suffering. I'll be joining the girls from Chepstow WHSmith this year who are all racing as well, and they have fully committed to have some fun in pink on the day. They have been amazing at fundraising this year as part of WHSmith's 225 years of trading where to celebrate this achievement we are aiming to raise £1 million pounds for charity.
