Firstly, let me be clear - I am NOT a runner. In fact it is accurate to say that I have NEVER run - not even for a bus!! But this year, I decided to participate in this extremely worthy cause, because very simply, if Cancer research didn't have the support and funding to do their research, then my and many others outcome may of been very different. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
