Lisa Walks All Over Cancer
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. The reason I’m doing this is that in one small way I can help raise funds to support Cancer Research and help find a cure. Those of you that know me have seen my family ripped apart from cancer. Firstly my husbands two sisters within 2 years of each other lost their fight. My mum is still fighting cancer along with my sister who has kicked cancers butt!!! I have been on their terrifying journey with them every day, watching them suffer, fight, cry and just be. Cancer has a profound effect on everyone, sisters, brothers, children and parents - no one is left untouched. This is my way of saying how proud I am of my family who have fought and lost to this edious disease! What’s 10,000 steps a day compared to their journey?
