My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. As many of you know, I am very partial to [an] alcholic beverage(s) and in my case, to quote Elephante ‘One drink turns to two drinks and two turns to ten.’ I’ve had a very indulgent December and am keen to still fit into my jeans 👖 🙈. Therefore, this January I’ve been cajoled/browbeaten 😜 into a general health drive, to include eating well and taking on Dryathlon and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I think I’ll find it tricky, but I also think sheer determination will keep me on the straight and narrow! On a serious note, one in two of us will be affected by this devastating disease over the course of our lifetime and virtually all of us have been affected as a result of someone close to us being ill with cancer. Indeed, it is a charity very close to my heart. Progress continues to be made in medicine, but of course cannot continue without vital funding. If you can, please support this cause by sponsoring me.
