Lisa, Gareth, LB and Buttons’ Very 2020 Race for Life

Like all things in 2020, the official Race for Life events have been cancelled and this means that Cancer Research have lost out on thousands of pounds of sponsorship for all those who would usually take part. Therefore a 2020 alternative is taking place; there is no set path, no specific location, no specific date and sadly no community momentum but the fundamentals are still there. You can still walk, you can still raise awareness and most importantly you can still raise sponsorship money to fund the vital research that Cancer Research UK does. That being said me and LB (and possibly Buttons) are taking part on the 26th September, with Gareth (if I can get him to agree) and we will walk as much as and as far (within lockdown restrictions) as their little legs will allow. LB has taken part in the Race for Life 10K walks for several years now so should be a piece of cake for him and it will all depend on the littlest sausage to how far she can handle.
