My Story
I literally hate asking people for money. Even when someone owes me money, I struggle. I also hate running - anyone who knows me well knows the hatred runs deep and has done ever since the days of cross country at school in those purple sports knickers. Urgh! But sometimes you have to get over what you hate for things that are much more important, like supporting research into cancer treatment. So during the month of August, I have pledged to run 31 miles. Might not seem a lot to some of you fitties out there but for me this is massive. I think we all know someone who has been touched by this wicked disease and as a family, we are unfortunately witnessing our amazing mum fight it for a second time. It's devasting. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime but we can all play our part to support the research that will beat it. To that end, it would be hugely appreciated and super amazing if you could donate even a couple of quid to my justgiving page. Maybe one day sometime soon, with this help, someone will find a way to kick cancer's big butt! Thank you, you superstars X
