My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This August I’m jogging (probably very slowly) 31 miles in the month to help beat cancer. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Gary my husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2019. Thankfully the brilliant Royal Free Hospital surgeons along with the Da Vinci robot (you must look it up, it is amazing) removed Gary’s diseased kidney. Sadly it was found that the cancer had spread to his lungs. COVID stalled his treatment but finally in January of this year Gary started his two year bi weekly combined immunotherapy and chemotherapy. Thank you for helping me give others like Gary the chance beat cancer.
