My Story
As you may know my beautiful mum was diagnosed with lung cancer at the end of last year. She is the strongest, bravest, most fearless woman I know and I can only dream of being as strong as her some day! Having a loved one go through something as dreadful as this can make you feel totally helpless (especially if you live in a different country!!) - so this is my attempt at doing SOMETHING. To bring her comfort. To show my love. To raise a few pennies that, who knows, may lead to a breakthrough for anyone suffering from this horrendous disease, but mainly for my amazing mum, who I need to have around for many many many more years to come. Zoey & I will be walking the 5k Race for Life on the 11th (walking, because killing myself running won't help anyone!) - and we'll do it for Oma!
