Lindsey's Walk All Over Cancer Fundraising Page

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Cancer doesn't care who you are, how old you are, what your gender is, what religious beliefs you have, whether you've just gotten married or whether you have millions in the bank. ***CANCER.DOES.NOT.CARE*** The steps I'm about to take are for anyone who has been touched by this horrendous, life destroying disease. The reality is, Cancer has now become a part of our daily lives. I want to help Cancer Research UK in their amazing work, in trying to end the battle. Some of my family members and my close friends and their families have been touched by Cancer. Some have been lucky and "beaten" it, while others are still fighting on. Many however, have sadly lost their battle and are no longer with us. Achieving 10,000 steps a day, to some people, is nothing, a breeze almost. For me however, not so much, it will be a big challenge. Anyone that knows me, will know that a) I have a desk based job, averaging 2000 steps a day in the office (if I'm lucky) and b) I've struggled with my weight, pretty much since the year dot! I won't lie, it's not going to be easy for me to hit 10,000 steps a day. Its going to take effort and drive! But, I'm no quitter. I want to do it, I will do it and I'm determined to help Cancer Research UK. Any donation, whether it be big or small, pounds or pence, will help to save lives. Every single penny counts. Please give whatever you can, it will truly make a difference to so many lives. Thank You X
