My Story

Hi everyone, this year has brought two big milestones for me, I am 60 ( how did that happen?) and I will be running my 20th Race For Life!! Everyone who knows me will know how important raising money for Cancer Research UK is to me. When I was 18 I lost my Mum to this awful disease...how I wish that things could have been different and I could have shared my life and family with her. Many of my friends lives have been touched by cancer too. I want to be able to contribute and to make a difference by raising money so that more friends and family are able to hold on to the special people in their lives. So.....this year is a big one for me..please please, please donate what you can however small, and make this year's total the biggest yet. Last year I raised £470, it would be fantastic to get to £500. It will mean so much to me and so many others.
