A close auntie had breast cancer, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. There has been substantial advances in treating breast cancer and more and more people are being successfully treated and able to live a longer life. There is still more to be achieved and I want our future generation to know a time when people don't fear the word cancer. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
