Doing it for My amazing Dad and all other people affected by this awful illness! ?
In memory of
Daddy Bear
On 16th September, I am doing the Pretty Muddy Race for Life in York in memory of my amazing Dad Geoff, whom I lost last September after a long 11 battle against Bowel Cancer, aged just 59 It's hard to explain the devastation this disease brings to people's lives, no words can help anyone understand the way it affects not only the patient but the family and friends around them. You always believe that it won't happen to you (I did) but it can, cancer does not discriminate against age, sex, race, religion it CAN happen to ANYONE!!! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now ??
