I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
This is my 8th year Racing for Life for Cancer Research UK because we MUST find a less dangerous treatment than chemotherapy! I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Jan 2009...& I was devastated & terrified! But I'm still here! :o) Two lots of surgery followed by horrendous chemotherapy & then radiotherapy took up the whole of that year. But I'm still here! :o) I'm still on 10 years of drug therapy, but this year I have just passed my first 8 years...woohoo! :o) And I'm STILL here! :o) 2011 was the first year I was well enough to join the 'Race For Life' - & it was one of the best & happiest days of my life! PLEASE if you can, sponsor me so that I can raise as much money as possible to help other people to get the treatment they need & to survive cancer - so they can maybe race too one day! :o) So they can 'all'... "STILL BE HERE" :oD Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
