My Story
After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why I'll be taking part in a Very 2020 Race for Life. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please sponsor me today! If you’d like to join the Very 2020 Race for Life community, then sign up at raceforlife.org/2020 We won’t let 2020 stop us. After recently completing the 9 week Couch to 5K I wanted to set myself a challenge. I have raised money for Cancer Research previously by doing the Race for Life so thought I would give the virtual race a go. If anyone is able to sponsor me and donate to an amazing cause I would be truly grateful. Update - my Couch to 5K running partner Karen has agreed to run the 5K with me. A good way for us both to test how far we’ve come in 9 weeks 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️ Update - this morning Karen and I did our 5K at Craigtoun Park and completed it in just over 37 minutes. Thank you to each and everyone of you for all the support you have given us and for helping us raise a fantastic sum for Cancer Research 💗
