My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every donation makes a difference and for every £1 donated, 80p goes directly to Cancer Research UK’s research work. I have been fortunate to visit one of the laboratories where the scientific research is being carried out and meet with some of the scientists who are undertaking this challenging and important work to find a cure Donations raised from the Race for Life event will help continue the funding of this research work - so please sponsor me now.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
