Cancer is happening right now, to too many people which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Any amount makes a difference. Too many people are living with the effects of this disease, either fighting, fought, caring for someone fighting, or having lost someone. 5km may not be far to many of you, but the distance to me is irrelevant, it's about trying to do something to improve people's lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
