In memory of

Adrian and Gillie Holloway - two of the most beautiful souls

My Story

I have lost two of my grandparents to cancer, both in different forms and both in different circumstances. Losing both of them had a massive impact on my mental health and my family. This fundraiser is dedicated to the family’s that have to deal with grief and mental health issues after the loss of someone close to cancer. Last year, one of my close family friends, Gracie, who I consider as another little sister, was diagnosed with a tumour in her brain that was giving her a few side effects. Over the last year, I believed that she had been getting better and things were starting to calm down. Recently, I got some news that Gracie’s tumour, also known as Sheldon, has grown again. Research and funding, no matter how little, will always make a positive impact and help (even if it’s 99p to get an ice cream for Gracie, i’m sure she’d be very grateful!) So, after all this rambling, I’d like to dedicate my fundraiser to Adrian and Gillie Holloway, the most wonderful people who influenced my life in the best ways. And to little Gracie, (who’s not so little anymore, you’re probably taller than me!) who has a journey ahead that many can’t comprehend. But she is brave. and she inspires me every day x Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
