I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner and help people like my Mommy x
A few weeks ago, my Mommy was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. She has had an operation and the doctors said it was caught early and they got it all out, but that she just needs some chemotherapy to stop the bad cells coming back to hurt her. There are lots of amazing doctors and nurses looking after her, but they need money to keep doing such amazing work and keep caring for other people while they also look for a cure. My lovely Auntie Natalie came up with the idea that me and some of my cousins could help people like Mommy and her doctors and nurses (and all the clever scientists!) and all of the people affected by cancer by doing the Race for Life! So we’ve made a team called “Team Elmo” and we are going to go for it on 9th June! I know lots of people ask for money for different charities, but if you are able to spare even the smallest amount to help me raise as much as I can it would be lovely and I would be VERY grateful. But don’t worry if you are already helping someone else. As long as you are helping, that is a really good thing x Thank you and lots of love Lily x
