My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This August, I’m jogging 31 miles in the month to help beat cancer. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. We can all play our part to support the research that will beat it. Help fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. I am now part way through and it is going well. Inspired by the strength of others who have no choice but to battle through illness, I have forced my lazy summer self out of bed, even with hangovers, and completed at least one mile a day so far. I have pledged to raise at least £100- small potatoes- yet everything helps towards the bigger cause. If you can help me to raise over that it would amazing! Thank you.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
