My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I am 90 years old and I have lost my Mother, Father, Sister, Brother and many friends to cancer. As I am fit and heathy I count myself very privileged to me able to do this. I did this when I was 75, it took me 50 minutes and I raised £744. As a retired member of Barclays Bank they matched my fund. I want to beat this amount I with your help and my age (90) I am sure we will do so. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
