My Story
Cancer is happening right now, affecting my nearest and dearest 24 hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty five days a year. I'm taking part in the Norfolk Hike for Life to raise money and show my support to everyone affected in whatever way by cancer, and help support Cancer Research UK raise the essential funds to support new treatments, new cures and provide support to individuals affected by cancer. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
