I'm taking part in the Race for life to support all those whose lives have touched by cancer.

My Story

I first started taking part in the race for life a few years ago when my Auntie was first diagnosed with cancer. She was so brave and strong and fought it every step of the way. Thankfully with the help and support of so many, Anne is now cancer free and enjoying life again. It was a very different story for my uncle though, who, although was incredibly strong, sadly passed away just over a year ago. I have seen both family and friends who have been poorly with cancer and also been there to support their family and friends who have had cancer. Every single one of them are amazing for doing what they do. As are the doctors, nurses, surgeons, councillors, carers etc... who fight for the lives of their patients every day and support them and their family in every way they can. By doing the race for life, I hope raise money and offer support to all those who have been affected in some way by cancer but most importantly, I'm doing this for my Auntie Anne and my Uncle Colin along with all of their children, step children, grandchildren, partners, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Love to you all. Xx Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
