I’m raising as much as I can to go towards research into all types of cancer
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Cancer research UK conducts research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer and aims to raise awareness. A few years ago my grandad passed away of bowel cancer. Because of cancer research completed we learned that he had lynch syndrome. Lynch syndrome means an increased risk of developing bowel/womb cancer. Learning this has allowed my mother, my siblings and I to all be tested for this gene altercation. We have since discovered my mum and brother both have lynch syndrome and as a result are now tested frequently for any signs, meaning it will be caught early. Research such as this helps many families daily and I want to raise money for cancer research to help continue and further their research which offers life changing results. CAUSE
Bowel cancer
Over the past 40 years there's been dramatic progress in tackling bowel cancer and half of people diagnosed will now survive for at least 10 years. But with bowel cancer still claiming around 43 lives each day, more research still needs to be done. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
