My Story

In October 2025, at just 26 years old, my life changed in a way I never expected—I was diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma❤️‍🩹 Before that moment, cancer felt like something far away, something that happened to other people. But suddenly, it became part of my story. Being told you have cancer at any age is overwhelming, but at 26, it completely shifted how I see my future, my health, and the world around me. The journey hasn’t been easy. It’s come with uncertainty, emotional highs and lows, and challenges that I never imagined I’d have to face so early in life. But it has also shown me how strong I can be, and how important hope, support, and research truly are. That’s why I’ve decided to take action. I’ll be taking part in a 24-hour Nailathon with my bestie Meg 🩷 The trooper Meg has done this before and is now doing it for me along side me, I am forever grateful 🩷 This is to raise money for cancer charities, pushing myself both physically and mentally for a cause that now means everything to me. On top of that, we will also be running the 10K Race for Life, another challenge that represents strength, resilience, and determination.💪🏼 Cancer research is the reason people like me have options, treatments, and hope. Every breakthrough, every improvement in care, exists because people chose to support and invest in research. Now, I’m asking for your help.
