My Story
I'm running (probably more like staggering/crawling ?) the Great North Run on September 10th and I want to raise much needed funds for Cancer Research. WHY? I've lost too many people in the last few years to this b*****d disease. I've watched families struggle while their loved ones go through horrendous treatments and pain with this disease....desperate to survive. I witnessed the heartbreak and suffering when someone is told 'there's nothing more we can do' .....it's devastating. I'm lucky, grateful and thankful that I survived. Please help me fight and Stand Up to Cancer by donating anything you can....no matter how small. For my beautiful friend Soraya ...miss you more than ever...bet you're laughing out loud at me doing this! ? And the lovely Hannah...wish you were here...could probably use your physio skills on the day ?....also Joanne, Jaq, Pauline, Neil, Victoria, Kerry and all those living with Cancer.
