I am riding the 970 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats in 9 days in September 2022 and raising as much as I can to beat cancer
During the last year I have ridden over 7,500 miles in preparation for my Land’s End to John O'Groats bike ride (LEJOG) starting on 10th September 2022. I will be riding the 970 miles in 9 days in memory of friends and family who have been impacted by Cancer, including my father who lost his cancer fight in 2017 and I am raising as much money as I can for Cancer Research UK. Cancer impacts many of us during our lives, loosing family and friends, supporting those having treatment or through the anxiety of a diagnostic treatment. Preventing or finding effective treatment for cancer will therefore have a positive impact on us all. Cancer Research UK is an independent cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, influence and information. People know I ride my bike regularly but riding the 970 miles up the UK in 9 days will be a big challenge for me and I hope I enjoy it as much as the many hours of training I have put in. Please track my progress here: https://live.opentracking.co.uk/rab2022/. My daily time will be available here: https://resultsbase.net/event/5973/results/3691758 Details of the Ride Across Briatin event I am doing can be found at: https://www.rideacrossbritain.com/. Cancer Research UK can help beat cancer so if possible please make a donation to my fundraising page and please keep track of my progress during the event. Many thanks for the donation you give. Best wishes, Paul For information on Cancer Research UK see: www.cancerresearchuk.org Please note the following: All donations will be paid to Cancer Research UK, a registered charity in England and Wales (No.1089464), Scotland (No. SC041666) and the Isle of Man (No. 1103).
