Leighann's Race for Life

Im going to do the race for life this year to raise money for a great cause . I dont think we realise how important it is until it comes knocking at your door , For people that know me know i keep my self to my self and very few knew i was diagnosed with cervical cancer early this year i tryed my best to keep things as normal as i could for my boys but it was the scariest few months of my life . I've always had regular smears and last year i had abnormal cells meaning i had to have a smear again a year later in that year those cells had turnt into cancer . I couldn't have anyone come to my appointments due to covid and i'l never forget the day i sat in a room to be told sorry its cancer .. my whole world fell apart in seconds i was petrified for my self and my children, but i was a lucky one i had all cancer removed and will now have 6monthly checkups but not everyone is so lucky so thats why i want to raise some money not just for cervical cancer but for all cancers so if you could even donate just one pound i'd be really grateful thankyou X
