My Story
In 2006, when I was just two years old, my mam was diagnosed with cancer. I was too young to understand it at the time, but as I’ve grown older, I can’t imagine a world where the science, medication, and medical advancements that treated her didn’t exist. Those breakthroughs saved my mam’s life. I feel eternally grateful for every moment we have shared since. I thank God for the research, the doctors, the treatment, and the progress in medicine that made those moments possible. That’s why raising money for charity and supporting cancer research is so important to me. My mam is the most beautiful, strong, and loving person, every step on race day will be for her and for every other family who has faced something similar 💗
