My Story
Almost everyone knows someone, a friend, relative, loved one who has suffered from cancer. In the UK. Someone dies from cancer every four minutes in the UK. That is a horrifying statistic. Early identification and treatment is key to reducing mortality rates. Cancer Research UK has been transformative in developing new treatments. Since the 70's, 10-year survival rates have risen from ~24% to ~50%, in large part thanks to the work by the charity. So, this July, I’m taking part in the Run 62 Miles Challenge to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page.

All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
