My Story

I've signed up to run the 10k, with the hope that I'll be able to build toward a half marathon later this year or early next year! As someone who has experienced Cancer first hand, I've been able to count myself lucky so far. Although I have to live with the serious life-long side effects of the treatment I've had, I know we have to find better ways to treat Cancer with less impact to on going health and diagnosis. This is extremely important that we keep pushing the boundaries of Cancer treatment and not only increase survival rates, but aim to lessen the extreme side effects, both in the short and long term.
