2018 Kew Gardens 10k
Sat 15 Sep 2018
I'm celebrating my wonderful Mum’s 70th and raising as much as I can to beat cancer, please help if you can...
Update - As you probably know I had to pull out of the Kew event below due to a sickness bug so instead I will be taking part in the Cancer Research UK Winter Run 10k on the 3rd February with none other than Mr Scott Renken! All my previous fundraising will still go to CRUK and it would be great to get up to that total amount in time for the new event - THANK YOU! So, having never even run 5k, I thought I'd just bite the bullet and sign up for a 10 and hope for the best! As all of you who know me know, I AM NOT A RUNNER. But this year is my wonderful Mum's 70th Birthday, so what better way to celebrate her than by raising some money to fund more of the research and treatments that helped keep her here with us for this milestone! I am going to do my VERY BEST to run the whole thing, even if it takes me forever! I'll be doing the Kew Gardens 10k in September and any donations will really boost me on during my training, and while 10k might not seem much to some of you, it really will be a huge achievement to me! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
